Charlie Martin of Leistritz kicks off the Bioplastics Twin Screw Workshop today at The Polymers Center. Two day workshop with 46 attendees, the largest crowd we have ever had at The Center. Other presenters: Brian Haight and Bill Novak, both from Leistritz, Rob Jerman from Extrusion Tech & Innovations, Juerg Hassler from The Polymers Center and Eli Santiago from the Maag Group.
Excited to announce the startup of our new Maag/Gala Model 6 Pelletizer attached to our new 40mm Maxx Leistritz twin screw.
Another successful blown film trial using our 2” diameter single layer blown film die on our 1-1/2” Single Screw extruder.
The Polymers Center is pleased to announce a new addition to our production and lab lines. Our partners at the Maag Group have graciously consigned a PRIMOPlus 200 Strand Pelletizer to The Polymer Center. With throughputs up to 3,000 lbs/hr and a dual drive allowing for easy changes on pellet length and weight, this is a great addition to our new Leistriz 40mm Extrusion line.
