From injection molding training, to materials testing and robotics, our partners help us showcase the latest and greatest technology the industry has to offer.

How Processing Parameters Affect Part Quality – SPE Carolina Section

When plastic parts are injection molded, the processor’s job is to maintain the natural attributes of the selected polymer and associated fillers, while producing high-quality parts at a profit. This can be easier said than done because plastics are subjected to high temperatures, pressures, and shear rates during the injection molding process. To learn how processing affects molecular weight, crystallinity, fiber breakage, and more, attend The Madison Group’s presentation by Amanda Nicholson at the Polymers Center on October 11th.
