The Polymers Center is hosting a two-day seminar that will introduce the concept of Design of Experiments (DOE) for injection molding. The goal of this hands-on workshop is to provide the knowledge for achieving a robust ‘dimensional’ process. The results from the DOE are analyzed to access the part quality. Process robustness based on dimensions will be discussed and data-driven solutions to achieve the required robustness are provided.
Hands-on portion will involve developing an entire process using SIM and DOE for a given mold. The attendees will be involved in running parts, measuring parts and performing the analysis.
Date: Wednesday and Thursday, Nov 2-3 Time: 8:30am-4:30pm Where: The Polymers Center Cost: $995, includes training material and lunch
